Fun & Educational
Our classroom blends a proven, research-based curriculum with engaging activities and fun, lighthearted games that encourage children to connect with their peers while learning. It’s a place where education and play come together to create a dynamic, enjoyable experience for all.
All-Purpose Curriculum
Handwriting Without Tears is the core of our curriculum, guiding both our art projects and various activities. It provides a fun and engaging way for children to learn while fostering creativity and skill development. Our staff and directors are fully trained in this proven approach, ensuring a consistent and effective learning experience for every child.
Socialization
While our curriculum is a central focus of the preschool experience, we also prioritize teaching important life values such as kindness, sharing, and positive social interaction. We strive to help children develop not only academic skills but also the emotional and social skills that will help them thrive both in school and beyond.
Engage their
growing curiosity
At Tender Years, we absolutely love learning and playing in our vibrant, colorful classroom. But we also believe in taking learning beyond the walls—so we regularly embark on walking field trips with the children, along with a few parent volunteers. These outings give us the chance to visit exciting local spots like Mr. Matt at the Library, the Mayor at Town Hall, and our friendly firefighters at the firehouse. Whether we’re in the classroom, on the playground, or out on a field trip, we’re dedicated to making every day a fun and enriching learning adventure!
