Toddlers
Ages 1-3
Our Toddler Program starts in our specially designed toddler classrooms, where each child is encouraged to develop their physical, social, and emotional skills while gaining greater independence. In this supportive environment, toddlers engage in age-appropriate activities that foster growth and exploration. As they progress, children have the opportunity to move through different areas of our center, transitioning to spaces that best align with their developmental stage, ensuring they continue to learn and grow at their own pace.
A Place Where Every Child's Potential Shines! →
As you enter the classrooms you will encounter children interacting with experienced teachers. We help to enrich language and vocabulary skills through daily activities such as group time and simple conversations between friends and teachers. Your child develops their creativity throughout this very busy stage. We promote this through activities including finger plays, music, nursery rhymes and art. Potty training is also introduced and encouraged at this stage.
Weekly Themes
Weekly themes provide a structured framework that keeps learning fresh and engaging, allowing children to explore a variety of topics in depth. This focused approach helps build connections across different subjects, enhances vocabulary, and sparks curiosity. By diving into new themes each week, children stay excited about learning while developing a well-rounded understanding of the world around them.
Learning & Development
We understand that each child is unique, so we tailor our activities and lessons to meet the individual needs, interests, and developmental stages of each child. Whether it's through one-on-one support, adjusting the pace, or offering enrichment opportunities, we ensure every child is challenged and supported in a way that encourages their personal growth and confidence.
Hands-on Activities
We believe that the best way for children to learn is through active participation and exploration. Hands-on activities are a core part of our approach, as they engage children in the learning process and allow them to connect. Whether it's building with blocks, experimenting with water and sand at the sensory table, or creating art with various materials, hands-on activities help children develop fine motor skills, coordination, and cognitive abilities.
Inspiring young hearts & minds to grow!
We strive to create an environment where children begin to make independent choices, develop essential self-help skills, and transition from parallel play to cooperative play with their peers. Early friendships are crucial to a child’s social development, and we work to create a fun, engaging atmosphere that encourages positive interactions and a love of learning. In accordance with Connecticut State regulations, we maintain a low teacher-to-child ratio of 1:4, ensuring each toddler receives the individualized attention they need. Our goal is to provide you with the peace of mind knowing your child is in a safe, caring, and supportive environment while you are apart.
